Clutch options for ABY?

I'm in need of a clutch for an ABY, what are my options? I'll be trying a few places tomorrow, GSF, ECP & Quattro Corner, aswell as some local suppliers, also have a chuckle at what Audi quote.

Got a price from Andrew Paige of about £135, is that a good price? Any other places to try? And is there any aftermarket or uprated clutches that are worth buying considering my car isn't standard and running Nothelle spec.

For this item the Audi dealer or TPS are really worth thinking about because they offer exchange on the pressure plate which brings the price down and you get the latest pressure plate which reduces the clutch pedal pressure and makes driving in traffic much nicer.

If clutch pressure plates are still on exchange - they were when I bought mine about 18 months ago - then all Audi dealers will take them on exchange.

TPS (Trade Parts Suppliers?) is a trade only supplier of factory VW/Audi parts. If you know someone in the trade and there's a branch near you it's a way of getting genuine VW/Audi parts cheaper than the Audi dealer. There's one member on here who has offered a mailorder service forwarding on parts from TPS; use the search function to find the posts.

Thanks fellas, a few extra lines id enquiry to try there.

Is it worth uprating to an aftermarket clutch, eg Sachs, or is the standard OE Audi item sufficient for 300+ bhp?
