might be a stupid question but want to make sure before i drop the motor in, just checking if the clutch pedal was working fine today seemed alittle frozen last time, and when i press the clutch in it hits the floor and stays there, and lets some fluids out from the slave cylinder inside the bell houseing (im sure this is becasue the engine isnt in and there isnt any pressure holding the slave cylinder and it is releasing all the way) correct me if im wrong just want to make sure, before i drop the motor in thanks alot

You dont want to be doing that!! you have probably fuc*d your slave cylinder as it will have pushed the seals past the stop.might be a stupid question but want to make sure before i drop the motor in, just checking if the clutch pedal was working fine today seemed alittle frozen last time, and when i press the clutch in it hits the floor and stays there, and lets some fluids out from the slave cylinder inside the bell houseing (im sure this is becasue the engine isnt in and there isnt any pressure holding the slave cylinder and it is releasing all the way) correct me if im wrong just want to make sure, before i drop the motor in thanks alot
The clutch forks push on the release bearing which forces the piston in the slave back, without the engine in the slave cylinder will sit at full travel pushing the pedal will push it past full travel.
I would check it prior to fitting your engine.. -
Yeah that's what I'm thinking happened :/ how can I go about checking if it is still ok, could I have someone outside pushing on the bearing applying force. On it while someone presses the clutch to see if it still leaks?? Or what would you recommendComment

Personally i would replace it, its the last thing you want to fail when in use and there not that expensive.
Hope it helps..Comment

yeah i went and ordered the part $80 dollars, and also bought a new throw out bearing replaced both while the engine is still out, (took the old slave out and it ended up breaking through the seal making it leak) thanks for the advice guys and recommending to change it for 80 bucks saving the hassel of removing it laterComment
