New bearing

Hi could some please give me some advice. I changed a rearbearing on a s2 avant. When I tighten the driveshaft bolt, I can't turn the hub. So whatcan I do?

Take it out of gear ?

handbrake?

Or maybe you have not pressed the bearing in far enough and the outer CV body is binding on the hub carrier

Cheers lads. I had to hammer the hub on a bit more. All sorted now.

You shouldn't really hammer a bearing in... They should always be pressed.
