audi a4 2wd to quattro

What would be involved changing 2wd to quattro? Can it be done ??? Bolt on......

Anything can be done with time, money, patience, i thought all audis are designed to incorperate 4WD, but probably cheaper and easier to just buy a factory one, the rest of the car will already be upgraded to suit, Suspension/ brakes etc..

Only ones i have heard of are some b4 80s,i heard it was a fairly common thing to do in greece or spain?(cant remember which)

Pretty sure the floorpan would be different for quattro, as 2wd beam is a completely different shape to a rear subrframe and diff.

there are several threads kicking around about it somewhere on here,the mounting holes for all/most of the stuff is to be found on them on certain years,think it was jas11n who looked into it

The original a4 i don't think can be converted the model that came after it could be either fwd or 4wd as the floor pan was the same
