s4 b5 shift linkage in 80 b4 quatto ?

i have a question, will a s4 b5 shift inkage fit a urs4 6 speed gearbox fitted in a 80 b4 quattro ?

ive heard someting, that you need to fabricate a mount on the transmission for the linkage...

I don't know but I need one NOW.
My "shift" is broken anda the 034MS shortshift is now too expensive (120 euros at home)

When I compared A4 B5 01E to UrS4 box, the significant difference was in the reverse gear "cup" (shift shaft cover where the reverse gear sensor resides). I persume it's larger on UrS4 than B5 cars, because the larger "cup" would not clear transmission tunnel. I have not compared this to S2 01E box, but this is one thing to have a look at.
