We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Hi all got an old 3B with a really noisey gearbox, believe it is the main shaft as it makes a terrible noise in all gears. Question is how difficult is it to strip these gearboxes out and to renew/ repair the internals, secondly is it cost effective or shall I just look for a new box?.
