I've brought an Audi S6 with a reverse issue when cold it won't reverse up an incline if its flat its not too bad, it just slips if you rev it in reverse all 5 forward gears are fine its also fine once the gearbox oil has warmed up. Everything I've read pointed to the oil so I've removed the pan cleaned it replaced the strainer and flushed the box with the new oil but the problem remains
any ideas? I don't mind rebuilding the box (not looking forward to it mind) but I wanted to eliminate everything else first I'm now thinking it could be the valve block that's at fault but Audi state you can't do anything with that and just to replace it.
I am also toying with the idea of converting it to manual
Anyone??
