    Clutch for 500hp engine?

    Hey everyone.

My friend has an 3B engined S2 with stock 5 speed stock trany etc. Current power outputs are aprox 330hp/550nm (powered by VEMS) and the good old clutch doesn't want to handle these powers anymore

As we have CT355 on the queue to be installed next weekend or so, it's a must for a stronger trany setup (clutch + pressure plate).

Our goal is 500hp and that's where the slipping clutch problem kicks in so can someone sugest me something for 500hp?

Most of you probably run SPEC sets but that will costs tonns of money in total to get it to LATVIA from USA I guess. Maybe there other alternatives? (something cheaper but +/- in the same quality).

    Cheers, Arnis.

Use Sachs Race Engineering clutch, it should hold fine.
That's what we do here on the GT30R car.

My car with K26/K27, was fine with 1.9 bar boost, dual mass flywheel, stock disc and SRE pressure plate.

even better a Southbend organic/metal face, but not for hard launches.

can not confirm that... I have a SACHS RACE clutch kit in my car and the pedal feels comfortable... not hard to depress... but the 4 pad sinter disc drives me crazy sometimes... I would never ever choose this again... but it's hard to find alternatives...
