Rear Diff Oil Volume

I have searched the forum and still not exactly sure how much oil the rear diff should take.

1 post said 1.5l and the other was 750ml...

I couldnt get my drain plug undone so i drained it on its side via the filler plug for quite a long time (made sure it was the lowest point!)

when i filled it, assuming it was going to take about 1.5l, i only managed about 1l before it over flowed. I love that smell!

So definitively...how much oil should be in there? When i put the plug back in, it was just below its level.

If its coming out the fill plug when level then its full . Thats what I did.

yup, it's supposed to be filled to level with the bottom of the filler plug mate

in that case...the rear sub and diff are going in!
