A shifter with cables from Sellholm is 500 euro but not for the 6 speed you would need to make it fit

Of course you will need a push shaft down the centre for reverse

Forgive me for being ignorant how exactly do these work?

Is it a case of push forward for first then forward again for second then rearward for first again?

Do you still need to operate the clutch by foot or does something also engage this at the same time as shifting?

see that lil spring loaded tab dealio on the thing? that is the reverse lockout. you would push that forward and it would allow the shifter to be pushed further over and into the reverse gate. but this would operate in a normal H-pattern shift otherwise.

myself and a friend are working on a drag shifter for our cars.... look into the old muscle car 4 speed shifter called a Verti-gate or V-gate.

after i saw the price tag, as i have of course been watching the development of this for quite some time, i bailed. i do have (from the friend who is working on a shifter with me) a VWMS unit i was going to copy or re-design to my liking.

Jack Knight used to make (still do?) a sequential shifter convertion, BUT they are theives and I would not go near them with a barge pole, they still have some parts of mine and won't return them, do not answer mails or calls. Obviously went to school with Corey. :corey:
