Guys, I'm going to get Rear Diff Seals, Rear Gearbox Seal and Front Gearbox Seals replaced.....

what's the best oil to go with for the change.

Mobil VS200 for the box and SHC for the rear diiff.

I am now a Millers agent. They do loads of different gearbox lubes for high performance and competition applications. I will be using CRX 80W140 when I replace the oil next week as I have just got in a stock of 5litre retail tubs. This is a competition lube designed for high stress and high temperature applications. They do Diff lubes too but I am in Belgium and do not have the data to hand at the moment but can discount RRP. PM me if you need more info.

I used to look after their computers years ago. Nice company to deal with. They were in old Victorian buildings then ( mid 80'S) very commited bunch and a quality product.

From the 01E quattro transmission manual I got the following info:

Gearbox Oil - quantity 2.7 litres
Audi - G052 911 A
SAE - 75W90
Fully Synthetic
Aud used to recommend a special VAG only additive in the 01E gearboxes when using G05000 oil - so I can only assume that the oil listed above includes the special additive.

Rear Diff Oil - quantity 1.5 litres
Audi - GL5
SAE - 90
MIL - 2105B
