Where to buy rear diff oil seal 017525400A?

    Hi!

Apparently, my diff is leaking, and according to my workshop it is the oil seal with part number 017525400A. Norway seems to be sold out of these, so I have to find one myself abroad.

I have searched the internet, and found variuos prices for it. Ranging from 20$ - 100$
I`d like to find an OEM one, but where? And what should I expect to pay for one?

Anyone familiar with the make Corteco?

    Thanks!

These should still be available through the dealer network. Think they're about £35 normally

If you're stuck send me a pm and I'll sell you one

Is this the big one on the LHS? If so I tried to get one from Audi UK the other day, they have no stock, and it's on back order at Germany. Oh, and it was over £50+VAT

Have you checked the breather is not blocked?

I asked my local workshop to fix the oil leak. I can only hope they do their job well

AndyP: I don`t know which side this is. I haven`t had a look myself. Don`t have the time anymore.

There is special way fotting an oil seal,if you just bang it in it will leak.not all people or mechanics know how to fit a seal.
