You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I have all sorts of noises with mine - a slight whine from the gear box, I can also hear the turbo whine like a supercharger as it spools up. Swear to god all these noises weren't present when I test drove the bloody thing!
If you are going to keep the car and enjoy it long term, it makes sense to properly correct the issue, rather than buying into another problem with a used box. It is costly but fun aint cheap.
I am going to keep it for sure. I do want to do this right, but I am trying to decide ob I should a get a CRB tranny then rebuilt it. I need to spend some money anyway so at least I will have a rebuilt trany and stronger one.
