B4 rear diff

I am sure that has been discussed already but cant find it.
B4 quattro rear diff it is combatible with a4 quattro ? Or s2 avant ?

You have to match the ratios. Some are 3.89 and others are 4.11 so be careful on that.

They are the same width between the flanges so the driveshaft length is good.

I'm going to try to install a b4 lockable diff into a b5 in the near future. The biggest problem will be the electrical and air connections.

Which ratio do you need for the A4?

I dont need for A4, i need for B4, i was asking if A4 and B4 are using the same final ratio ,and have the same lockable rear diff. I need 4.11 for B4 sedan.
