Metal coil that fits around the ball joint that houses the gearstick

Can anyone help me with a part number for the thin metal coil that sits between the gearstick and the plastic ball joint that under neath the gearstick gaitor please?

Mine snapped a while ago and although this works fine without it I just wanted to replace the part before I forget about it.

Pic attached, the metal coil can be seen on here on the left hand side sitting upright after it snapped

Sidrick....replacement lock ring is 81 pence from Audi

I felt the need to order 2 at that price!
