CAD drawing for bellhousing

Anybody got a CAD drawing for the I5 bellhousing? I need to make an adaptor to use a different gearbox

Can you not draw round your spare box and scan in the dimensions??

It's not for my car, it's a project I'm helping out on, can't say what it is yet as the owner does not want to go public until it's finished.

I can draw it up from my spare gearbox, but I thought I'd ask if anybody already has it before I go down that road.

RS4 B7 (4.2 V8) gearbox fits 5 cylinder.

Maybe you could get a gearbox spacer and trace it, I have none to spare at the moment or I'd do it for you and mail it over.

I think I've got one now, off Motorgeek, but it's not proven so I'm going to try printing it out 1:1 to do a rough check.

I have a gearbox spacer. I'm in Stockport. I'm working in Sheffield tomorrow!

The problem with doing it from the gearbox spacer is, it won't tell me where the centre line for the crank/gearbox input shaft is. The CAD drawing I've got has this on, I've just got to make sure it's OK before cutting any metal.

Can you use the bolt pattern to triangulate the rear crank boss circumference and then work out the centre line from that?
