      Dobbin,

Don't forget to change the bearing and actuator arm. I did mine a few months back and the cylinder did not need to be changed but the actuator arm can wear where it rotates on the pin !. They had to take ff the exhaust and the downpipe so make sure you have new clamps ready to put it all back on !

      Good luck

      Paul

How long will the clutch last on an RS2 if not abused? That is something I have been wondering about since I bought my RS2 that I think is still on its original clutch.

I had a bad experience with techniclutch. Went for an uprated stage 2 for my s3 with lightened flywheel. Didn't fit! Had gave Pete my engine code no. too had to take it out and pay for shipping to return it. Heard this has happened to a fair few people who have used techniclutch. Also I noticed that the clutch cover was just sprayed red, badly. There is a reason why they are cheap! Won't be using them again.
Just letting you know my experience with them.

The amount of people who have had a bad experience with this company is unreal. I posted up links off just passionford about them. I really hope that dobbins clutch is a good one as its not the most fun of jobs to change the clutch in these.
