CQ quattro diff flange swap

Does anybody know if its possible to swap the out put flanges on a cq diff to the flanges from an S2 diff so its possible to use 108mm cv joints.

I have the chance of getting hold of an S2 avant rear diff so would also need to know if there are any differences there?

The only difference between the 90 10v sedan, 7A coupe, and the S2 is the out put flanges. They are interchangeable. The S2 ABY Avant Q runs the same 108mm output flanges as the S2 coupe. At least according to EKTA.

Thanks for the information. Thats just what I wanted to hear! I had read the flanges could be swapped but didn't know if that applied to using an avant rear diff as well.

and the 4cyl models in Europe had a 90mm output flange as well. the 20v N/A has 100mm and the 20v turbo cars (3B/ABY ?) had the 108mm.

and the breather is configured a little different. thats all i ever saw from my research of them.

all internally the same.

So its only the nose on the Avant diff thats different over the coupe?
