  • Proper S2 Driveshafts

    Hello Gents

Would any of you be kind enough to provide the part numbers for the front left and right S2 driveshaft assemblies? I'm having a heckuva time trying to find this info via search.....I've been able to confirm only the Outer CV joint part# 893 498 099 LX.

    I'm building a us spec 1991 90q 20v to S2 spec for track use

    Thank you kindly

Wow, the condition of parts looks great. I guess it's because you have the climate and none of that nasty salt that feeds the rust worm!

Looks like the left front wing has had a bump though

        Good luck with the build.

        P.S. I'm only jealous

Thank you for posting up the diagram...

It would be the entire assembled driveshaft #1...Please what is that part# ?

Thanks John...Yes, got VERY lucky to find a chassis with minimal to zero rust.

Front wings will be replaced with fiberglass wide body kit

              Hi Dfrosty,
Below follow a link to help you. It’s a VAGCAT where you can find an ETKA online clicking on “Parts Catalogue”. You need to create an account. It’s not so good like ETKA but can help.

              Regards,

Forgot to say, the engine and box look very peachy

BTW I have a spare set of front drive shafts from an S2 avant (same as ABY coupe) that i got from another forum member if you get stuck I don't need them any more as I have new inner and outer joints for my existing shafts

Thank you sir. She's comin' along nicely....painstakingly slowly, but hopefully she'll be making the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs by this summer!

Would you be so kind as to send me any available pics of your spare set?

                      Sure.

It'll be next weekend as they are stored away from my house.

                      Cheers
