4.2l V8 AHC on 016 tranny

Hi Guys,

does anybody know which flywheel I need to put between 016 transmission and Audi S8 4.2l AHC engine?

Does stock S8 flywheel match or I need some custom flywheel or something else?

What's the problem with stock 4.2l flywheel and 016 tranny? Is it too thick to fit on 016?

dont think so... but the mostly v8 versons came with an automatic trans.... all the trannys will fit, some minor diff the clutch and those parts... try the lamell unit on the tranny input axel...the flywheel does have different thickness.. that correckt... then the different pushrod length for the clutch release...use the singelmass flywheel if you can the doublemass are some *****.....go for it

I have one singlemass flywheel because 016 is now connected to AAN engine, but there is difference in bolts between AAN and V8 crankshafts. 8 bolts AAN vs 10 bolts V8. I was wondering is it possible to weld actual holes and make new 10 holes for V8 on current sm flywheel?

Use a flywheel from 3.6. V8 3.6 was equipped with 016 if manual. Rare.
