    4:11s in urq

Hi all, Anyone have any feedback on 016 200q into an urq. I have the transmission but have mixed feelings on going to the 4:11s over the std. 3:86. Engine is a 3B. I'd hate to install the shorter gears and then hate the drivability. Don't want to feel like I should be searching for another gear at highway speeds. Thanks

And obviously you would be changing the rear diff to 4.11 to 1 (37 crown/9 pinion) as well?

Yes I would be,but the short gears kind of put me off. Wonder if others liked the short vs stock?

The stock is 3.89 with a 5th gear of .77:1 the 4.11 is a .73 5th. You end up with just about the same cruising speed in 5th, and the ratios are very similar. It is a win win to get the torsen center IMO

Thanks that makes sense to me. I like the torsen and the gear ratios would eliminate the 2nd,3rd black hole in my 83 016.
