Tomorrow after traditional Easter breakfast I will put some real pictures.

so that looks the same as the $110 model from 034?

btw: here are the instructions on how to mod it to have the reverse lock-out (6 speed box)

034 is right across the Bay from me and I'm looking at doing a short shift myself. If it's worth it (i.e. cheaper than your UK 034 source), I'd be happy to be a local go between and then ship over the lot to the UK. Would need someone on your side of the pond to handle local distributions. Busy with a 2 week project for work, but would be available after that to figure things out.

Yea some information and pics on the 45 quid one would be great. Its more the play I want to eliminate and a slightly shorter shift. I dont need a tiny stiff change. Ohh err misses.

    My email from Eddy

    Hi Campbell,*

It was good chatting with you, pity it was brief.*

With regards to single unit price, you will be looking at £235 + £5 P&P. This includes all taxes, and shipping from the U.S.*

For an order of 10 units i could offer 10% off of the £235 price. This is the absolute maximum i can offer as my margins on JHM products are not great.*

    Thanks

    So 10% off £235 = £211.50

I will start a new thread peeps!

The thing i noticed after fitting one of these is you have to use a little more force to pull out of gears and select gears which means you feel like your having to throw it between shifts rather than a gentle shove.
Not a massive deal but when your in comfy cruise mode it's a little off putting to have to rush the gear changes a little to keep enough momentum to shift smoothly. I've been thinking about weighting the linkage next time I do the clutch.
Already fitted one of andy's alloy knobs that weighs alot more than standard in hope of adding a little more mass behind it but didn't seem to make alot of difference frm that end of the assembly.

fitting the reverse lockout plate is a little fiddly but simple enough.

In general it's a big mistake to try and rush the gear change on these cars, IMHO
Best to be mechanically sympathetic every time, or wear out the syncro's fast.

I don't need or want a short shift, just an OEM shift without excess play
