Most people are dying to get rid of the dm flywheel
Given there are better people than I to answer, but I think it should fit as some people do the reverse, given aby flywheel bolts, and I suppose you would need the gearbox spacer too. Might want to watch out for flywheel timing pins too.

Don't think so, 7a/3B are SMF (Single mass), they have a different design. ABY/AAN/ADU are all DMF.

      Correct me if I'm wrong.

As above, isn't really worth the trouble to go DMF

It should fit the engine alright, you will need the gearbox spacer to make up the difference. Dont know about the 5speed box, that might have an issue with the dual mass.

I have 5 speed gearbox on my 3B with DM ABY flywheel and clutch. Everything is OK. So far

the flywheel is made in 2 parts with rubber joining them. this is ment to make drive smoother, but it can fail and it's also wider so a space is used between engine and gearbox.

I have used a dual mass flywheel with the spacer, on an ABY engine with 3B gearbox with no problems.
