UrS Clutch Pedal Failure Modes and Solutions

UrS clutch pedals fatigue crack and fail because the clutch has been allowed to wear too far, increasing the required effort to engage and disengage the clutch disc.

As always Dave, an interesting post. I have suffered a brake/clutch boxes failure.
That was difficult to deal with. I also suffered an actuator rod failure some time ago.
But I have to say in my ignorance I simply thought that the clutch in the s6 was heavy. Until now I had know idea The clutch would get heavier as it got older: hi
I have been shouting how wonderful my car is because it has done 202000ml on the original clutch without slipping. You learn something every day, Even If you have a policy of. If it isn't broke don't fix it. My right leg is twice the size of my left, now I know why.
Thanks Dave first class info, yet again thumbs:

Sorry I meant my Left leg not my right: hideont want people thinking my right leg is bigger because of the loud pedal. That would simply not do. Oh no.
