Gearbox oil cooling pipework??

So I got a 01E gearbox that has the oil pump setup, but unfortunately it has no oil pipework. All it has is a single banjo bolt, the other is missing. So I need to make something up to just run a bypass, not a full cooler setup. What size and diameter does the pipework need to be? Any measurements of other custom setups or stock ones? Also will it need to be solid steel etc due to its proximity to the exhaust downpipe? I need another banjo bolt, what is the thread?
