    Jerky Auto Box

Hi all, recently had my 20v coupe taxed and tested and when driving i've noticed the gear changes arent too smooth, worse down the box than going up and seems worse when you are just rolling to a stop and not braking.
This is my first auto so not sure where to start.
    Cheers

Most autos are like that, the brand new Peugeot 5008 models are absolutely horrid in terms of stuttering when changing gears. I've heard the old Audi Autos weren't the best really. It's probably normal

Okay, just thought i'd check as in the "instruction manual" it says something about not being smooth then take it to an audi stealer.
But if they're usually like that then i'll leave it.
Thinking about a manual box anyways....
      Cheers

Both my Cabrio v6 and urS6 autos are very smooth, change the fluid and filter.

They didn't design them to be jerky as normal !

should be pretty smooth, change the filter and fluid before you do anything else im pretty sure it will solve your issues.
