hey lads, i dont no how many of you no about the audi S4 b5 conversions the lads over the pond in the US are doing.. they are using the Vw VR6 12v and 24v slapping a turbo in the mix too and using that to replace the audi s4 2.7tt motor.

im going to be using the same setup but i will be keeping it in my vw corrado vr6 to convert it to 4wd and for something different... ill be using a 016 / 01A / 01E Audi gearbox ( what is the strongest and easiest to get hold of )

the advice im also after is on what rear subframe from the audi range to use, i wont to use one that uses a single coilover unit not separate shocks and springs( if any audi subframes use this setup ), also i need one that is not electronically controlled like the haldex unit, a true 50/50 setup..

i no most people will say why do this conversion but i wont something different and i love Corrados


ill be running over 600whp so im not sure what box and read diff will hold this power i no the amount of custom work that will be done but this is going to be a long and meticulous project and i have a good budget for doing and will be doing all the work myself

i could probably also use an 02M or similar gearbox as that will mate to the vr6 but somehow make the transfer box and haldex into a true 50/50 setup that would be 100% less work and free up more funds to reach more than 600whp how could i do this?
