01E gearbox oil cooler

hi people !

there is a 2 type of O1E gearbox - with and without oil cooler !

this 01E with cooler .. did it MUST have cooler ?
can I close this 2 wholes with 2 bolts ? or this 2 wholes must be connected with pipe ?

if you drives hard, on a freeway,with 4-700+hp, have some cooler for the box... it will last longer..

no.. it is 286hp urs4 with DGU (s6+box). daily use car !
pipe which we put on box have a leak. so can we close this pipe wholes with bolts?

Better connect them together and leave oil flow intact if you don't have money for repairs. No need to be smarter than s6+ engineers.

this is solution for only few weeks , until we find good size and place for oil cooler !
