    ur flywheels on 20vt swap

I swapped an ABY into my typ85 90 a couple of years ago using WR flywheel and clutch. Iv had some clutch slip after a track day and am looking at an uprated clutch. What I want to know is if all UR flywheels have the raised edge enclosing the disc as I'm sure that isn't great for heat dissipation? I have a 7a flywheel that I thought I could maybe use with an uprated pressure plate and uprated UR disc. The engine is just stage 1 prj map but have big upgrade soon so need to handle 450hp with abuse.

    Any thoughts or ideas chaps?

RRs use a nice light flat one(I have one on my 90)

Mbs possibly use the same one.

Lots of t44 100/200s used the flat one aswell

Yes you can use 7a or 3b flywheel with the 016 friction plate and obviously a 3B uprated pressure plate

Good man. Glad I don't have to buy another flywheel and think the 7A is a better design than the WR. Does a 3b pressure plate fit the 7A flywheel? Or is an uprated 7A plate readily available?

            Thanks

The dished 016 flywheel was used in the ur and 100/200 turbos. It was used up until 88, then they changed to a completely flat one
