012 Transmission drive shaft flange swap

    Hello,

I would like to know is it possible to swap 108mm drive shaft flanges to 130mm.
I'm swapping 1.8t + 5speed gearbox from -99 a6 to Audi cabriolet and I'll have to buy 2.8 v6 drive shafts that has 130mm tripod inner cv joints.

Another option would be replacing tripod cv joints with the normal ones, but I don't know do they fit on the shafts.

    Thanks.

you may change the cv joints; its like LEGO... the propchafts are 3 pc unit.. the senter and 2 cv joints.. so you MAY change to the verson you need.. ( dim of spline)...

Yes. It would be great if someone knew for sure that the inner splines are the same whether the drive shaft has originally tripod cv joint or the basic one. It would be easiest (and cheapest) if I could just replace inner joints.
