  • Pressure plate - dual mass vs. single mass

    What's the difference between both?

Is there anybody who used DM pressure plate on sigle mass fly wheel (3B)?

    Cheers,
    Pawel

The pressure plate for a dual mass aby won't fit a 3b or a aan flywheel. I have a new sachs racing uprated aby pressure plate if your needing one.

I'm using single mass 7A flywheel (more or less same as S2 3B), AAN clutch disk (solid, no springs) and AAN pressure plate (weaker than SRE for AAN, but fittment should be the same). Only drawback is the increased gearbox noise compared to dual mass flywheel or spring clutch disk. Usability is suprisingly easy for daily driver, I could take off on 2nd gear without any shutter or jumping/stalling issues.

And thats what I want to hear-read.

I have also prepared 3B disc (with springs) with kevlar linings. All together will have handle RS2 setup.

            Cheers.
