  • TDI quattro transmissions in Europe?

Hello, new member here. I am working on converting my b3 90 quattro to TDI power (AHU). We don't have any TDI audi cars in the US except for some very new audis, so I have quite a variety of parts coming together to make this work.

I don't have much knowledge of TDI quattro transmissions. Ideally, I would like an 01e 6 speed TDI transmission with a 4.11 final drive. I think this exists in europe, but I am wondering what cars these come from?

I have been looking at the transmissions from the v6 tdi a4 such as this

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-2-...item19e0f99783

    would this fit the bill?

Also, if anyone on the other side of the pond has access to a gearbox that fits my needs and would be willing to work out shipping it to me, I would be glad to discuss that option.

    Thank you very much.

    _Dana

Here is my last b3 that I built, I no longer own it, but I do miss it! It ran an 11.7 @124mph in the quarter mile. Something tells me the TDI might be a bit slower.

here is the b3 that I am currently working on

and the AHU all cleaned up and re-sealed with 1.8t AEB oil pan and oil filter housing to fit the b3 chassis. This engine was from a mk3 jetta.

hi tim, I posted on his thread and sent a PM, but I'm afraid the post is quite old, so parts are likely sold.
