    prop bearings - aby avant

Not 100% on these. Read a lot about BMW and Ford Scorpio parts being used.
Anyhow got a terrible squeek / rattle on coasting (fine under load). Guessing something giving way.

Just wondering whats the latest info as some posts are quite old now.

I did a lot of digging on this as well and think I've found the genuine part which bolts on without modifying. Hope to fit it in next few days and will post up if it fits and can see if I can get more for anyone interested.

I used the bearing from Powertrain Industries here in the US. A dead ringer for the original. Made in Taiwan. Time will tell.

I used the BMW alternative (suitable for 2002ti to M5) and it lasted about 50km with the 765nm of torque. Now I have something similar that was on the car orginally. Specialist shop took the legs from the orginal and welded them to HDversion of a bearing. Also the joints were renewed. First I did them my self and found out that one should machine little off from the collars. I did not so I had to weld a pracket to get them of from the diff and gearbox...[emoji12] uploadfromtaptalk1431254818672.jpguploadfromtaptalk1431255037983.jpg
