  • pressure plate to flywheel bolts

    hi,

I have just been bolting up my flywheel and clutch to my engine. . . the clutch kit is a spec stage 3+ with an 034 vr6 to 01e flywheel.

there are no bolts with the kit to bolt the pressure plate to the flywheel, should they have come with the clutch or do i need to visit audi?

    Thanks in advance

Use OEM. They are 12.9 fine pitch with thread lock

timing up the engine and bolting on the flywheel is about as exiting as it has been for a long while.

when i have some bigger progress i will get a project thread going instead of the members cars one i had

the clutch kit is for a 7A, you cant see a part number by any chance can you? it will be a pain trying to order them through the parts department with no reg or vin number.

              much appreciated!

I do not believe they are fine thread, just standard corse pitch M8x16 socket heads in 12.9 grade
