Gear ratio

Hi,
does anybody know the ratio of the AOA 5 speed? Afaik it should be a from a 200/5000 with MC1 engine...
I want to exchange an ur quattro UG which is fitted in a type 85 with 3b engine. I was told that the AOA has a longer 5th gear and same final ratio. Can somebody confirm?!

Hi Jubu

I have just checked ETKA, and keep in mind that AOA is USA only gearbox.
And final drive is 35/9 (3,8888) (normal thing in usa, where only 20vT had 4,11, while here in Europe every 5cyl quattro has 4,11)

ratios:
5. is 27/37
4. is 29/30
3. is 34/25

1 and 2 are not to be found. It does say though that input shaft is Z=10+16 but not sure how to interpret it.

The ratios seem to be the same for AOA AUM and ADZ

ok, found it in eu market as well

it does not make sense as 200q in eu never had this final drive, did it?

final drive of the ur quattro UG is also 3.89 => AOA fits
5th gear is 0,78 => AOA has 0,73
