Ordered my 01E dog box last fall. Took 7 months to deliver (promised 1-2 months). Sent the wrong gear ratios and this what happened after second full boost run:

(Stock 01E lasted almost 50 000 km with 660-1000hp power level. And was still fine after changing to PAR.) Free to share!

When I ordered it last fall I said it's going to be in 1000hp/1000Nm car. When I got 7 months later they said they are worried that it won't last.
I don't care about warranty anymore, best thing to everybody that we forget this hole nightmare happened. We make our own gear set now. Much stronger.

Just want to share this that nobody goes through this s**t. And I don't mean just the breaking.

Yes it's Tatech 32 with some special features (rolling launch control, boost by gear, rev limiter by gear, etc.)

I hope you have more luck with your own gear set . The dog-box i have still has the original 01E input shaft. But off course that can only be used with helical gear.

But i must say your car is great and the dog-box shifting is just sick!

Some say it's manufactured by KAPS but I really don't know.

yes the seq shift sold by SQS is really made by KAPS/SSSDrives. i have (had) the same on my PAR dogbox.

that really sucks. man that thing went quick too, breakage wise.

i had the same issues with time from ordering, that sucks also.

i hope your next dogbox serves you well, mine has held >850 AWHP and ~630's WTQ 47+ psi for a long time now.

Any specs on your own gear set? Is it for sale? I'm about to buy a Jonus dogbox geat set (1-4), but am open for improvments

One of our customers on a FWD drag car snapped the PAR input shaft on his box the first time he launched it on launch control. Our AWD mk2 golf sheared 3rd gear in half from a very reknowned company that we are still in dispute with.
This time round we've sourced a custom set and building the box's ourselves.
