    Without doing a cross-reference, an ASZ or AXM 5 spd quattro 01A in a North American 1990-91 coupe quattro would use Item 13, PN 016409399B, 45 x 60 x 8, seals.

Not sure. Which transmission are you using with this engine swap?

Here is a pdf for changing the rear diff left and right side seals. The front seals will be similar.

Axle shaft seal replacement - how to ?

Hi there, I noticed that my transmission leaks on the passenger side (right for me) axle shaft seal (I hope so).

Most likely due that my down pipe doesn't have a heat shield there and is quite close.

I purchased those axle shaft seals :

First of all, I was wondering if it is usually those that fail and have transmission fluid leak or it could be items on this schematic (i.e. # 15a, 10 or 11) ?

Secondly, anyone has a "how to" or tricks to keep in mind when doing those ?

    Thanks
