I swapped mine old to new.... no problems... I think the wires are the same colour with a different plug... (can't remember

)

It can't be that difficult if I managed it!!

Edit: I think I remember the hole in the console is smaller for the newer style ABY one... unless you can find the type Dave posted with the little cubby hole... best double check sizes!

hang on...thats two completely different vehicles...on the coupe, I dont believe the 3b/ABY centre console is any different and therefore the switch *should* be the same dimensions...someone with an ABY may be able to confirm their difflock shape/size. Personally I cannot see why they wouldn't be a straight swap

I did mine some time back, I think I recall there being an extra wire for the ABS switch
And yes, you'll need a later console.

I'm putting a custom carbon console in my project and thought I could use the newer switch as its smaller and I've got one laying around somewhere.

You can see them both at the start of the thread. The ABY is the same as the one Dave pictured, but without the little cubby hole
