Help with flanges.

I have a rear diff AEC with 100mm flanges, but I need to change them to 108mm.

Does anybody know which diff i can take flanges from?

You may need whole diff from S2 coupe or B2/Typ85 Q with 5 zylinders. Flanges from them might be interchangeable with AEC, but that's just an assumption to be checked.

AEC, this is a B3/CQ type locking rear diff?

the S2 (turbo 5cyl) has the 108mm flanges.

the 5cyl N/A motored cars have the 100mm flanges

the 4cyl cars had 90mm flanges, from what i researched.

all the research i have done shows the diff flanges and the breather thing to be the only difference.

flanges from b2 quattro are also 100 mm!

Flanges VAG 857 525 355 & VAG 016 409 355 from differentials UK,UR are 108mm
