Given no other sources of lubrication then yes....however I'd only use the genuine VAG oils designated for your transmission. Or perhaps an equivalent product from Opie oils, it's worth spending an extra few quid here.
Gearbox wants GL4 and the rear diff GL5.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro
1994 MTM RS2.
1998 B5 TDI quattro Sport.
2000 B5 TQS. -

Is it different oil in the Diff than used in the gearbox on 3b coupe? if so what type is needed please?
