bmw lsd diff in the rear?

Hello Guys. anyone tried an idea to put Bmw 4.10 LSD diff in the rear, turning it 'up side down' ,since the rotation of diff is opposite?

Why not just buy a diff designed for the S2?

But your buying something thats made to fit, surely worth weeks of time and energy try to make something work that was built for a completely different car?

What energy? What is so hard and time/money consuming to mod the rear subframe to acomodate the bmw diff,or mod a bmw subframe to acomodate the audi chassis and audi suspension arms.
Design and manufacture new rear diff mounts+brackets, put the bmw diff upside down and check if the oil level is in the same position as in original position
Find a way to mount the driveshafts.Bmw shafts that will fit on bmw diff and mod the ends to fit audi hubs,or audi driveshafts moded to fit bmw diff.
Get the correct length at the propshaft, get a nice position of the diff so the prop works in its limits.
Refurb the bmw lsd or upgrade it to more friction discs(some porsche parts can be used)
Get a way to still use rear arb in the new setup.

                  And more.

This seems a weekend job and 5-10 eur spend on some rags to keep all clean..

Cheap and good does not exist. It existed long ago,but died of hunger.Expensive and bad does exist.

If you use te car on street as a daily you do not need a lsd.If you use the car on tarmac track and the suspension is stock,arb-s are stock, power is 300 hp,you are not a pro,you do not need lsd.If you use the car on gravel get other open audi rear diff and weld it.If you are a pro rally participant, price for lsd should be 1% of the total investment in a rally car,so buy that 1300 usd one,do not be cheap..

who says its stock or who says its pro? PRO doesnt read this forum and stock is not where anyone is going to put custom diff.
and you forgot some other destinations: drag racing, hill climb and circuit racing

                        For drag,welded should be....great?

Hill climb?Circuit racing?Means you have FIA aprooved seats,FIA aprooved fire extinguisher,FIA homologated rollcage or in conformity with appeddix J of fia regulation rollcage,FIA homologated helmet and seat belts,FIA homologated racing overall, gloves etc, tons of money invested in brakes, tons of money invested in polly/alu/uniball joints, tons of money spend on racing tires you throw after each event, tons of money invested in suspension and arb, tons of money invested in the engine build etc etc etc.
And you wish to make a more than 2 week custom buid job to save 1000 $?????
Come on....i am out of here....
