  • 100 quattro gearbox to S2?

My S2 (3B) gearbox and Torsen are very worn and it seems that there is no sence to repair them. Since it's very hard to get another same gearbox from here then what alternative gearbox or differential can I use? There is 93' Audi 100 quattro gearbox and differentials available here so my question is that can I use any of these?
If not then if I only repair the gearbox then what other differential can I use? I think there should be another differentials from Audi models that goes to my S2?

You can use the Torsen box from your Audi 100 quattro, it is a direct bolt on replacement. However, though it has the same final drive ratio of 4.11:1 as your original 3B, the overall ratios are lower. Typically, an S2 will indicate approx. 98 MPH @ 4,000 RPM, while the 100 quattro will indicate approx. 87 MPH at the same RPM.

You can rebuild the 100 box, using the 4th and 5th gears from the S2, if they're not worn.
