    Short shift fitted - WOW!

Fitted today, first impressions? Fantastic! this is the way the car should have came from the factory, it feels like i'm driving it now.

Many thanks to Alan & the vag parts team, the service is second to none. Ordered thursday afternoon, on my doorstep 8am friday, not bad when you consider i'm in the channel islands.

All depends if your 5 or 6 spd, 5 spd is a doddle, 6 is fiddly but worth it once done.

David, fitted it myself, take your time & a couple of hours will see it done.
              It is fiddly, but straightforward.

My RS2 has the 6 speed CRB box, so had to do the reverse lockout mod, but this was far easier than the instructions would have you believe.

              A must do mod!

It's a straightforward DIY fit - even I managed it -took me about 1 1/4 hours. It is a fantastic mod, as you say why wasn't the shift like this out of the factory!
