do you mean putting cup1's on the coupe is expensive and not particularly easy. i want 17" wheels and i like the cups, but will be led by the advice i receive here.
Im buying some Mille Miglia cup 1 rep's. can anyone confirm that the following is correct:-
17"x7.5" Offset 35, with 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
S2 has bolt pattern 5X112, but presumably they can be adapted?
Also, does £100 per wheel sound about right?
cheers
Jamie

Bro, think what Mark is saying here is that if you are going to buy cup 1s best to buy ones to fit the car (112x5 with 35 offset) rather than buy the wrong PCD (114.3x5) and make em fit. I have cup 1s replicas and they are correct offset and PCD so they are available and will save a load of grief.

Cup 1s are nice, I have them, but get the right ones to start with and you'll save yourself a heap of problems - as said above, get 5x112 and 35 offset to start with - I have Mile Miglias and they are exactly that spec.
£100/wheel is actually a good price - don't forget also to factor in buying new tyres: you'll want a tyre in this size - 225/45 ZR 17. There's a whole host of opinions on which tyre brand to go for though, do some searching on the forum for that...

I made this mistake i had adapters made for 5x130 cup 1s but have never managed to get any. Three months later will probably put adapters on ebay and get some 5x112 audi alloys to save messing around.
