  • 19" x 11J on rear of a coupe

after being well and true dry bummed over my BBS LM's i found some wheels off a porker wide body 911 not sure what there called, there a 3 piece smooth line 5 spoke split rim

had a go at putting them in place last night and im getting about 25mm over hang past the arch lip, with bout 5mm clearance on the strut

now the tyres that are on at the moment are 315/25/19 which isnt helping much

what is the narrowest tyre you can get on a 11J to get the euro look tyre wall

    wheels look like these

yeah looks like its going to have to be, trying to keep the standard style archs if poss, if not will look at the fibre glass molds like syntech used

Speak to somewhere that can do tyre stretching, im still amazed how much stretch the germans get on there tyres!!! They seal at the bottom of the lip on the wheel but go in from there not up the side of the wheel before going across if that makes sense, its what allows them to fit such big wheels as the tyre goes no where near the body!

I wouldn't put any real power through a "euro look" wheel / tyre combination.

why the arch will cover the tyre? the arch can easily be pulled out by 25 - 30mm nout illegal about it,

either that or i can get a narrower front piece as they are 3 piece split rims

Wheel and tyre arent allowed to exceed the width of the body, shame really cos its such a good look when done right, Wonder how many people would actually get stopped for it tho... Mr MOT Tester should fail it for it tho.
