19" x 9"

Anyone got 9" wide wheels on their S2?

I just got a set of used new S6 alloys - BBS splits, and I am sooo tempted to get them on the S2 - but 9" - anyone have 235 wide tyres on a 9" rim?

I've got 18 x 9 but with modified arches on my avant-will get picture off digi cam if you need.

that would be good to see. WHat width tyres are on those - can you show me the stretch on them? the avant is tighter at the back than a coupe to get wider wheels on.

I have 255/40/17 on my Audi URS4 soome to be 255/40/18 Rims are 8.5x18

mine are 255/35/18, no stretch on the tyres. previous owner was running 245/35/18 on the same rims but tyre stretch was extreme. his avant was also arch modified. will get the pics off camera for you.

Doug if they do fit let me know as thats the size I want my BBS's in also let me know what spacers and or ET you use and any body alterations

Doug, I run 245's on my 8" rims if that is any help. ( I was wondering if you had though of going wider or are you trying to use existing tyres?) My car does not rub but it is NOT lowered....

He only has a polo gti so wont be going too fast they are a pain in the *** to blow up

im running 17x9 with 235 tires.

No problems with clearence unless high speed driving on speed bumps dont ask

My car is however with stock suspension, not lowered.
