9x17 on S2 avant?

Anyone running 9 x 17s on an avant? Got some possibly lined up, 35 offset etc what size tyres on these do we rekon? Arches can be rolled, my cars -40mm on H+R s atm anyone forsee any probs clearance wise (inner or outer) Anyone got pics of these on their avant? Thoughts suggestions welcomed and positively encouraged

It going to be tight with the Avant rear arm I don't know if it will fit.

i have 8x17 and et35 on my car, and the rear wheel is maybe a pair of milimeters from being lined up with the rear arch

LA S2 I don't know It's a squeeze with 18x8 J Gav managed to get 18x8.5 but they stuck out just a bit.

Remember the Avant has a wider rear track which makes it even worse on top

I really don't think it will fit if i'm honest.

Yeh, have to agree, 8.5 with a et52 is the limit.
I do have a pair of cup1s 9.5 x 18, Going to have a go at getting these on. Will have fabricate a different upright. Had check of an RS4, exactly the same as RS2. They just have wider bodywork. I don't realy want to go there.

Im running 9x17 on a 3B Coupe. ET 25 i think, no problems, car is not lowered though

Coupe rear arms are different to the Avant design and allow more clearance.

235/40-17.

ET might even be as low as 12 now that i think about it.

Seem to remember that the rims are ET 37, and then Im using a 25mm spacer all round.

Not quite sure now that i think about it.

Anyways, the tires/rims do sit a little further out than the wheelarch (which is illigal where i live BTW ) but no clearence isssues as mentioned.
