Will 245/35/18 tyres fit under the front arches without any isues? the rim is 8.5j with a 32 offset. Putting on the h&r cup kit too, not sure how much lower that makes the car tho.
Anyone running a set up like this?

Shouldn't be an issue. I think Fat Audi 80 runs 245s on his coupe. I've also heard of 255s being used on the front although I believe the rears aren't quite as straightforward!

              Yes, I am using 245/40/17's.

I would however check, as you are trying 18's which will move the shoulder of tyre up towards the arch a little more due to the profile and size. Also you are running a lower offset AND wanting the lower the car.

James (TerryB) has had to rull his arches with 225's on 18's so it sounds tight to me.

Oh well looks like 225s it is then
James, i asume after getting the arches roled there was no more scrubbing? Also have you spaced out the rears or do they look ok? Had planned to space the rs8 reps out a little but they'r a higher offset to my new bbs'
Any one recomend a good make of tyre to get?

Roads down here are cart tracks
But yes if you hit a bump hard you will get a little rub

I think a 10mm spacer on the rear would be quite cool but i am unsure to as it will fit or not?

I have 245s! tiny bit of an arch massage and alls good, mine are very wide 245, Dunlop super sport race. A pirelli same size is narrower
my off sets won't help as its RS2. still same suspension/arches so it can be done.

30mm HR springs and 245/35/18's on rs2. Rubs over big bumps a touch at the rear and full lock rubs a tiny bit but nothing noticed in everyday driving. Although to be fair it's been 4 days with them on

RS2 has different hubs to the S2, 245/35/18 on a Coupe is going to rub.

                            235/35/18 will fit no problem
