  • Need some RS6 wheels info.

Well, I'm currently looking at some stated OEM RS6 rims.
    He says it's 18" and 8" wide with ET43.

    When I go to family album and have a look I find this (4B3 601 025 Q):
19" and 9" wide with ET35, so is the guy with the wheels trying to fool someone?

And furthermore, will the 8" wide and ET43 wheels fit on the S2 Coupe with 10mm spacers?

Those wheels will probably be RS6 style from something like an A4. Some Audis were fitted with an RS6 style wheel from the factory so in that sense would be OEM. You're correct in stating the actual RS6 wheel sizes are 19" x 9j. You can use a spacer to fit those wheels but imho the spokes on those high offset RS6 alloys are too flat. A replica with an ET35 or better still ET30 will have a much nicer shape!

Thanks guys for bringing me up to speed, will keep looking for real RS6 19" ones then... got something "special" planned for them :mischeif:
If that fails I'll resort to the heavier replicas

              I believe the RS6 was also available with nine spoke 8.5J x 18 ET30 wheels (4B3 601 025 R) not just the five spoke 19" wheels.

Dang it k.alle - I've been thinking of doing just that on my RS6 reps. Something about white wheels - I dunno - maybe its a wannabe rallycar fetish Only trouble with them is getting 'noticed' a bit too much for my liking... You could never describe white wheels as 'subtle' !

I think we have the same fetish then Paul, I can't really explain it either other than I get very excited looking at nice white rims especially on a darkish colored car

As for the getting noticed bit, I see your point but in my case that wont be a problem as my S2 Coupe is no where near subtle to begin with.

EVO Rieger rear wing (the oh-so-disliked-one on here )
                    Black tinted rear lights
                    "Eyelids" up front
Don't think a set of 19" white wheels will change the appearance too much..

I have yet to take a picture that does the rims justice in white oddly enough, but in real life they're absolutely _stunning_.
I can truly recommend it, 100£ well spent (media blasted & powder coated).

I think it's time to scratch this itch... Can one of the Photoshop gurus find a pic of a dark green coupe with rs6 wheels and paint them White ?

Will see if I can find a pic of my coupe as starting point.
