maximum diameter of tyres for S2 ?

Hi all,

what the maximum diameter or size of tyres is possible for a S2 with standard suspension ?

I want to get maximum clearance and so big tyres are neccessary.

I would like 215/60/16 or 215/65/15 (diameter is 660 mm), I know only metric sizes, but dont know if it fits.

I tried already 205/65/15 and ok, which is the same diameter as 235/45/17 (643 mm)

anybody tried 225/50/17 A8 tyres ( diameter 656 mm ) ??

i think 225/40/18 is the maximun tyre size for normal suspension

having another try... wanted to put winter tyres 225 55 16 diameter is 25.7" or 652 mm

any idea if it will fit ?
